How we collect and store data
The Young Democrats of Massachusetts maintains strict privacy policies to protect the personal information of our users obtained for text message communications. This information is never sold, rented, released, or traded to others without prior consent or legal obligation. Any sharing of information with third parties is solely for the purpose of fulfilling the organization's obligations to the user. Personally identifiable information will never be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Our organization takes the privacy of voters seriously. Therefore only data for those 18+ will be collected. When data is collected it will never be more than is already stored in the voter file (this includes your name, address, phone number, and political party designation), except that emails will also be stored. Data will be collected when it is submitted via any form on this website, or sent to us via email.
Text Message Opt-Out: If you are receiving text messages from us and wish to stop receiving them, simply respond with either “STOP” or “UNSUBSCRIBE” to the number from which you received the message.
You can request us to delete any data or information we obtain about you by sending that request to communications@ydma.org.
