#YDMACON 2022 is officially here!

Basic Information:

When? July 9, 2022, from 9am to 4pm

Where? Boston Teacher’s Union, 180 Mt Vernon St, Dorchester, MA 02125. Closest to the JFK/UMass Red Line station. Also accessible by bus via the JFK/UMass bus stop, which serves lines 16, 8, and 41. Parking is available at BTU.


Who? In order to vote, you must meet the following eligibility requirements pursuant to section 2-1 of the YDMA charter:

- Be a registered Democrat (if eligible to register to vote)

- Be a resident of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

- Be under the age of 36 at the time of voting

- Have attended at least 2 YDMA events prior to convention


If you meet these requirements and register, you will be registered as a voting member. If not, you will be registered as a guest, but you can still attend convention.


Registration: Registration to attend as a voting member closes at 8:00 PM ET on Thursday, July 7, 2022. Anyone who registers and does not meet the requirements to be a voting member will be registered as a guest and may still attend convention. To register, please visit the link HERE and follow all instructions. In order to be considered registered, you must both fill out the form and purchase a ticket from ActBlue. If you require a fee waiver or are under 18, you will not purchase a ticket from ActBlue and we will contact you directly to confirm your eligibility and get you your credentials. All information is also on the form.


Schedule: We are still in the process of finalizing our schedule, but are super excited to shortly announce our speakers and the panels we have planned! As mentioned above, convention will take place from 9am to 4pm, and once we have the nitty gritty details set, we’ll send out the full schedule. Make sure to keep an eye on your inbox and on here!
